6th Annual Birdie Fest
August 21, 2017 at the Glacier Club, Durango, CO
Last year, on August 29, 2016, three teams made up of pros and members from The Glacier Club, Hillcrest Golf Club, and Dalton Ranch Golf Club competed for the most birdies during a 54-hole modified scramble while raising money for the Adaptive Sports Association (ASA). We were all overwhelmed with the huge success of this year’s event. The Birdie Fest shattered all of our financial expectations and raised more than $35,000!
Golf is the very rare sport where the goal is to play less… the fewer strokes the better. But with this event we love to see the number of birdies go higher and higher throughout the day, generating much needed funding for the Adaptive Sports Association’s (ASA) winter and summer programing. ASA is a non-profit that provides life-changing outdoor recreational experiences for people with disabilities.
Join us for the 6th Annual Birdie Fest as we watch the three clubs to head-to-head in the tournament, followed by an awards party with hors d’oeuvres and drinks at The Glacier Club. We then award our coveted traveling trophy to the golf club with the most individual pledges. Last year, Hillcrest Golf Club won our trophy with an overwhelming 90 individual pledges.
